I was raised in the great state of Colorado, I’ve taken quite the journey—living in Virginia for five years, Ohio for two, Missouri for three, and ultimately finding my way back home to Colorado. Along the way, I’ve grown not just as an educator, but as a person, wife, and mom. I’ve been married for sixteen years and am blessed with three beautiful children who inspire me every day with their hearts and their humor.

My career in education has been just as adventurous. I’ve served as a classroom teacher, mentor, lead teacher, interventionist, and instructional coach. Each role has helped shape my passion for equity, student growth, and teacher empowerment. Now, I’m stepping into a new chapter as a Dean, bringing all of that experience to support both students and staff in new ways.

I am entering my tenth year in education! I have taught 3rd grade and 5th grade, worked as a reading and math interventionist K-5, and am currently a gifted and talented coordinator. I love teaching and working with students.

I am originally, from Athens, Georgia but have lived in Colorado for twelve years now. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading, writing, and hanging out with my beautiful dog and husband!
